The Social Responsibility Fair was intended to be a collaboration with OU’s Housing and Food to showcase sustainable initiatives within local businesses. Social responsibility is the concept that businesses should in some way improve society further than their profit-making activities. How does this impact us? When we know how organizations are giving back, we can choose to support them over another business that has fewer goals to improve the community as a whole.
